The beautiful palaces and forts surrounded by extreme poverty. 

 

Moving away from the cities, you head into the mountains either to the North, where Nepal and India meet with the vast stretch of the Himalayas, or to the Southeast where the Eastern and Western Ghats mountain ranges converge. And stunning beaches run along the coastline of the country.
